stoep  /stʊp/  · noun · South African English, from Afrikaans

  1. 1

The porch in front of a South African house, where the street stops by to chat.“Ma’s on the stoep, go say hi.”

  2. 2

A shop that lives in your bio, where your people stop by and buy.“Meal plans are on my Stoep, link in bio.”

Pull up a chair

Every creator we know started selling from somewhere small: a DM, a WhatsApp group, a voice note at midnight. We think that somewhere deserves a proper shop. So we built one that fits in your bio, takes card and Instant EFT, and pays out in Rands.

Three things we won’t budge on

Stoep is built around how South African creators actually sell, not how a tool from somewhere else assumes they do.

01

Your phone is the studio

Most creators we talk to don't own a laptop, so every part of Stoep works on a phone: signing up, building your page, selling, getting paid.

02

Paid in Rands. Not someday

Buyers pay by card or Instant EFT, the money goes to your bank account, and every fee is shown before you sell. No dollar maths.

03

Your people stay yours

Your buyers, your email list, your brand deals. It's your page and your audience, with no algorithm standing between you.

We’re new. Like, brand new

Stoep is being built in South Africa right now. There are no famous faces here, just example pages that show what a meal-prep coach, a baker or a braider could set up in an afternoon.

The first creators to claim a link help decide what we build next. If something’s missing, tell us and we’ll probably build it.
